February 19 is a "Day of Remembrance" to increase public awareness of the events surrounding the incarceration of Americans of Japanese ancestry during World War II.  A series of stills with transitions was created using Photoshop's frame animation to convey a solemn narrative.  Public domain photos were used, and color was used as an accent for dramatic effect.
